Work Site: Cincinnati, Ohio, with a requirement for 40-50% travel throughout the designated region.
Pay Details: Starting at $32-39 per hour, with adjustments made according to your professional background.
Your Responsibilities- Manage and assist with complex robotic welding configurations.
- Oversee the loading, observation, and quality check of welded parts.
- Maintain accurate records of parts and finished goods inventory.
- Conduct routine maintenance and resolve technical issues to ensure automated systems remain operational.
- Ensure optimal system performance by checking part alignment and overall machine function.
- Document operational data to assist engineering teams in identifying and fixing system errors.
- Utilize technical documentation, including schematics and blueprints, to guide your work.
- Maintain and repair various industrial components, including sensors, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Help install and integrate autonomous welding units within production facilities to improve output.
- Acquire proficiency in system operation, including basic programming and command-line adjustments.
- Collaborate with clients to guarantee that all machinery functions safely and maintains high productivity.
- Work alongside engineering staff to resolve complex mechanical and robotic challenges.
- Perform necessary cleaning, inspection, and replacement of mechanical and electrical parts.
- Maintain flexibility to handle shifting demands within a high-speed technical setting.
- Possess a technical certification, an Associate degree in Engineering Technology, a BS in Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated history of building, servicing, and diagnosing industrial mechanical or electrical systems.
- Prior exposure to welding is a plus, though formal certifications are not mandatory.
- Background working in industrial settings such as machine shops, fabrication, or automated manufacturing.
- A willingness to master the software and programming interfaces required for automated machinery.
- Ability to interpret complex technical diagrams and electrical schematics.
- High attention to detail when handling both heavy machinery and delicate parts.
- Strong mechanical reasoning and a proven ability to solve technical problems.
- A team-oriented mindset for working with engineers, fellow technicians, and clients.
- A proactive attitude toward mastering emerging robotics and automation technologies.
