Position requirements:

Horizon Science Academy Dayton is looking for a Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team for the 26-27 School Year.

• Support the school's mission, philosophies, values, goals, and policies toward students, parents/guardians and coworkers.
• Assessment & Evaluation:
  Conduct standardized tests, clinical assessments, and instrumental exams (e.g., barium swallow) to diagnose communication disorders.
• Treatment Implementation:
  Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans for speech sound disorders, fluency, voice, and receptive/expressive language delays.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with state/facility regulations.
• Collaboration &
  
  Education:
  
  Consult with family members, caregivers, physicians, and educators to provide training and discuss rehabilitation goals.
• Share best practices with other teachers and collaborate with them to improve instructional and assessment practices.
• Interact frequently and respectfully with students/staff.

• Highly qualified in content area

• Has the work ethic and desire to go above and beyond
• Highly organized

• Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree
• Valid OH Speech Pathologist License
• Minimum of 5 years Teaching Experience
