Foster Care Recruiting & Licensing Specialist

The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a Foster Care Recruiting Specialist to join our Foster Care department. The Recruiting Specialist will work with prospective and current foster parents offering support and guidance through the steps to become a licensed foster parent and maintain their licensure with the agency and DCY regulations. This position will create and implement outreach efforts to educate the public about foster care to recruit potential caregivers, collaborate with team members on foster care training curriculum development, and present to both prospective and licensed foster families.

The Recruitment & Training Specialist will also conduct events and opportunities to ensure foster parents feel supported, valued, and recognized. This position will travel to program sites in Southwest Ohio and may require evening and weekend hours.

• You have a bachelor’s degree in a human services related field.
• You have two years of foster care experience.
• You preferably have an active Ohio LSW.
• You have an active driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
