ADay in the Life
The Software Developer III is a full‑stack developer focused on supporting New Business, Brokerage Services, and Application Intake processes. This role is ideal for a hands‑on full‑stack developer who enjoys mentoring others while also architecting scalable, secure systems.
You’ll work across legacy and modern tech stacks to enhance, support, and refactor critical systems. Your work will include 60% enhancements and new projects, 25% production support, and 15% modernization.
Duties and Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack business applications (.NET 8, C# 12), primarily focused on back‑end development (65%), while contributing to front‑end efforts (35%).
- Act as a technical lead on projects—gather requirements, design scalable solutions with an emphasis on maintainability, security, and performance.
- Conduct code reviews, ensure compliance with SDLC processes, and champion engineering standards including logging, unit testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to modernize legacy systems while actively delivering new functionality.
- Use AI tools (Git Hub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to assist with code generation, refactoring, and research—sharing techniques and learnings with the team.
- Support production systems, troubleshoot defects, and lead root cause analysis for incidents.
