.NET Developer / Software Engineer (Backend-Heavy, Razor UI)

Vernovis is looking for a .NET Developer / Software Engineer to support and enhance our client’s healthcare application used in radiology workflows. The role is backend-heavy, with meaningful frontend work using Razor in a clinical review application. This is an opportunity to work in established, production systems that support critical healthcare workflows.

Successful candidates will be comfortable jumping into existing codebases, collaborating on project scoping, and contributing either as a hands-on coder or as someone who also enjoys technical discussions and planning.

• Design, develop, and enhance .NET applications, contributing primarily to backend services with some user-facing functionality
• Maintain and extend existing production systems, implementing new features, refinements, and performance improvements
• Build and modify UI components using Razor (.NET) to support workflow enhancements and clinical user feedback
• Develop and support Windows-based services and applications, including background processes and system-level components
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to scope work, estimate effort, and prioritize development tasks, while also being comfortable executing independently

• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET, including backend development and Razor-based UI work
• Proven ability to work in established codebases, performing maintenance, enhancements, and incremental feature delivery
• Experience developing applications that span backend services, UI, and system-level components
• Familiarity with Windows-based environments, including services, installers, or system-level applications
• Ability to adapt to evolving priorities and contribute through hands-on coding and/or technical discussions and planning

• Exposure to healthcare or imaging systems such as HL7, DICOM, or PACS
• Experience working with integrated systems or data exchange between applications
• Background in regulated or complex technical environments
