Agility Partners is hiring a Principal Java/J2EE Engineer for a tech/financial services client. This senior role focuses on leading architecture decisions and building secure, scalable enterprise apps using modern Java frameworks and AWS. You’ll guide engineering teams, drive cloud-native design, and set best practices across development and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Lead design and development of enterprise Java/J2EE + Spring applications
Architect AWS cloud-native solutions (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, Dynamo

DB, SQS/SNS, API Gateway)
Build and manage IaC with Terraform
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, troubleshooting, and collaborate with stakeholders

Ideal Candidate

5+ years of Java/J2EE with Spring Boot/Cloud/Security
Strong AWS experience
Terraform expertise
Strong REST/SOAP, microservices, and database skills
Experience with CI/CD, Git, and Agile
