Job Description We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer III to join our agile squad. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in object-oriented development, mainframe or open-systems programming, SQL, and version control and a proven ability to deliver new features with quality while adhering to risk and security practices. Responsibilities:
Implement new features while maintaining software quality and reliability. Document and share technical knowledge to support a learning culture within the squad. Follow best practices, participate in code reviews, and engage with developer communities of practice. Stay current on relevant technology trends and apply them appropriately. Research and resolve customer issues in collaboration with peers and stakeholders. Adhere to policies, procedures, and risk frameworks to support a positive customer experience.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or comparable field. Knowledge of object-oriented design and development in one or more languages such as COBOL, SAS, or other open-system languages. Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.

Experience with version control solutions, preferably Git or Git Hub. Understanding of the full software development lifecycle and security best practices for software development. Understanding of basic networking and firewall concepts. Strong analysis and problem-solving skills. Up to 5 years of software development experience. Preferred

Skills:

Experience with Snowflake ecosystem tools such as Elevate, Switchboard, and DBT.

Experience with ETL processes and sFTP-based file movement. Active mainframe development experience. Prior work in Agile environments with participation in code reviews and communities of practice.
