Python Architect GCP

Seeking an experienced Associate Principal with 12 to 15 years of expertise in Python development specializing in React, Python, and GCP technology stack to lead and architect scalable cloud native applications.

• Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Python within a React, Python, and GCP technology cluster.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define technical architecture and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Drive innovation and best practices in cloud‑native application development on Google Cloud Platform.
• Mentor and guide senior and junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies and tools to enhance development efficiency and application reliability.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and adherence to timelines.
• Engage in strategic planning and contribute to the technology roadmap development within the React, Python, and GCP domain.
• Ensure robust application security, scalability, and performance through design and code reviews.
• Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

• Own end‑to‑end technical leadership for Python‑based application development, including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
• Architect and develop microservices and cloud‑native services leveraging Google Cloud Platform capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance and code review to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges in development and production environments.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Lead and participate in architectural discussions, technology evaluations, and decision‑making processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and innovation within the development teams.

Variable Compensation:
This position includes a bonus or variable payout component based on individual and organizational performance. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance, and internal equity.
