Sr. Software Engineer
PatientPoint Network Solutions LLC in Cincinnati, OH seeks Sr. Software Engineer to design and implement backend systems and APIs, including the management of infrastructure, methodologies, processes, and tool stacks. Responsibilities include the development and optimization of event‑driven microservices, utilization of MongoDB for high‑performance No
SQL data storage, creation and maintenance of RESTful and GraphQL APIs, implementation of data streaming solutions with Apache Kafka, building and managing multi‑cloud applications on AWS and Azure, adherence to security standards and compliance requirements, integration with AI/ML models for content search, application of Twelve‑Factor App methodology, use of appropriate data structures, algorithms, design principles, patterns and concurrency models, and creation of test harness, infrastructure and test cases/automation for product quality.
Must travel to headquarters office for team project meetings lasting a week about 1–2 times per year. 100% telecommuting from home allowed from anywhere in the United States.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of experience in the field.
- 4 years of experience with Core Spring Framework modules (Spring Core, MV C, and Spring Data JPA) and building RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
- 3 years of experience developing products using microservices‑based architectures.
- 3 years of hands‑on work with AWS and Azure public cloud solutions.
- 2 years of experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL; data modeling using a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS).
- 2 years of experience developing with Python 3.10 or higher.
- 2 years of experience with real‑time data streaming technology, specifically Kafka.
- 1 year of experience packaging, orchestrating, and managing containerized services on Amazon EKS and Azure AKS.
- 1 year of experience with MongoDB databases.
- 1 year of experience developing with Java 21.
- 1 year of experience with AI and machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as Tensor Flow, PyTorch, and Scikit‑learn.
- 1 year of experience with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML protocols and encryption technologies.
- Experience with data privacy and security principles.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment using Jenkins, Docker & Kubernetes.
- Experience with Twelve‑Factor App methodology when building applications/services.
