Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Engineer with expertise in cloud platforms, container orchestration, and manufacturing software development. The role involves designing, building, deploying, and maintaining MES solutions for diverse industries such as Pharma, Auto, HiTech, and Consumer.
Must Have Technical / Functional Skills- Hands‑on experience with deployment on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), Kubernetes and Docker containers;
Dev Ops understanding - Hands‑on experience with .NET or other application programming languages
- Experience designing user interfaces and navigation for shop‑floor systems
- Experience with Web services (SOAP, REST API) and knowledge of XML, JSON, and SQL queries/stored procedures
- Knowledge of Agile methodology and tools such as JIRA and qTest
- Knowledge of SQL Server database design and administration
- Experience designing and building MES for one or more industries (Pharma, Auto, HiTech, Consumer)
- Experience with Opcenter or any MES domain
- Experience developing machine interfaces for MES using OPC software (Kepware, RSLinx, etc.)
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and customer‑facing communication skills
- Interact with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements for new manufacturing solutions
- Assess requirements and develop high‑level design approaches in Tulip, providing effort estimates for design, build, validation, and deployment
- Analyze requirement specifications and prepare detailed technical designs for business functions
- Deploy manufacturing solutions in Opcenter, including interfaces to other systems
- Review solution performance and conduct monitoring
- Supervise the development team and provide technical guidance on solution approaches
- Install code on development, QA, and production servers on schedule using approved Installation Qualification documents
- Good communication skills, adaptability, fast learner, and commitment to achieving team goals
- Leadership abilities: coordinate and direct phases of project‑based efforts while supervising, motivating, and leading project teams
- Excellent facilitation of effective communication
- Strong team collaboration skills
- Bachelor of Computer Science (or equivalent)
$140,000 – $180,000 per year
