As a Java Developer III, you will contribute to the development and support of internal applications, lead backend development initiatives, and ensure high‑quality code across all stages of the software development lifecycle.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services for fraud and financial applications.
• Self‑sufficient in developing code, deploying software, and supporting systems.
• Lead development efforts within an agile team alongside experienced developers.
• Define site objectives by analyzing user requirements and envision system functionality.
• Design and develop code, set expectations, and prioritize features throughout the development life cycle.
• Determine design methodologies and tool sets; complete programming using appropriate languages and software products.
• Design and conduct tests; troubleshoot development and production issues across multiple environments.
• Support users by creating documentation and assistance tools.

• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• Proficiency with Java 21, Java EE, and Hibernate.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot / Spring Framework.
• Excellent understanding of REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience deploying on Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in relational database design, SQL, and ORM technologies such as JPA2 and Hibernate.
• Experience developing web applications using popular web frameworks (e.g., Spring MVC).

• Background in banking or financial services.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Data Stage or DBT.
• Experience managing vendor systems and platforms.
• Knowledge of Open Shift and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of Snowflake data platform.
• Experience with deployment pipelines.

• Hands‑on experience designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
• Object‑oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Proficient with relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
