Power Apps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Apps Engineer to lead a high-visibility project within our IT department.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing complex custom applications and workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate, leveraging the standard Power Apps license model (not Premium licenses).

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications and workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Ensure applications are optimized for performance and responsiveness.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Craft intuitive and user-friendly interfaces by adhering to best practices and design principles.
  • Perform meticulous testing and debugging to guarantee the reliability and efficiency of applications.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all applications and processes.
  • Customize and extend standard functionalities of Power Apps to meet specific business needs.
  • Train end-users on how to effectively use Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
  • Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in developing custom applications and workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, including Canvas Apps, Model-driven Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in training end-users on Power Platform solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate) are a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Prefer candidates local to the Cincinnati area, with availability to work in-office 3-4 days per week.
