Job DescriptionMadeira City Schools is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Head Coach for the new Boys Volleyball program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in volleyball, demonstrated leadership skills, and a commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the court. The Head Coach will be responsible for building and leading a positive, competitive program while fostering skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Responsibilitiesand Requirements
- Plan and lead practices
- Coach competitions
- Coordinate with any assistant coaching staff
- Player development
- Academic monitoring
- Communicate with athletes and families
- Equipment management
- Fundraising
- Organize camps or clinics
- Promote program growth within the school and community
- Ensure compliance with OHSAA rules, school policies, and safety guidelines
Candidates must pass background checks and meet all Ohio Department of Education and Madeira City Schools coaching certification requirements.
