PositionPosition: Delivery Operations Coordinator, Meals on Wheels
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Position PurposeThe primary purpose of this position is to support the Meals on Wheels home delivered meals program by coordinating the inventory, sorting, packing and delivery of home delivered meals for MOW clients.

- Possess a valid driver’s license and appropriate insurance coverage; good driving record required.
- Ability to read, follow a schedule, read maps, and use GPS.
- Moves equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- May be required to use stairs to deliver meals to clients living on upper floors of buildings with no access to an elevator.
- Excellent customer service and communications skills, both written and verbal, required; ability to handle a heavy call volume in a professional and efficient manner;
English language proficiency. - Able and willing to work independently with flexibility and integrity, as well as effectively with team members, clients, volunteers, and the public in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be fully up-to-date with required vaccinations.
- Sort and pack home delivered meals according to the assigned schedule, ensuring client requests are accurately accounted for with on-hand meal inventory.
- Assist with the preparation of shelf-stable meal boxes for client deliveries.
- Review the delivery schedule and assigned route each day, verify meal counts, and maintain appropriate temperatures.
- Assist volunteer drivers upon arrival with loading delivery pickups into their vehicles.
- Collect route sheets and equipment from volunteer drivers and prepare for following delivery day.
- Deliver meals in a company vehicle when routes are not covered by volunteers, following safety regulations and ensuring correct food type and quantity for each client.
- Act as a public-facing representative of the Meals on Wheels program; greet clients warmly and observe wellbeing, reporting concerns to the Director.
- Maintain and submit accurate written documentation for each client meal (delivery time, signature, delivered/undelivered).
- Maintain the company vehicle in good working condition, including fuel, oil, and mileage logs.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report any needed repairs or hazardous conditions.
- Keep up-to-date records and timely submissions of time/mileage, route sheets, leave requests, and incident reports.
- Return all equipment/tools to the office at the end of each shift.
