Performs all required safety checks (i.e., pre/post trip) including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations;
Drives and delivers trailers according to predetermined route schedule;
Ensures all equipment and freight are secured and all route paperwork is available to driver upon dispatch;
Completes daily record of hours of service in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements;
Keeps tractor, loading dock area, and trailers clean and orderly; performs other related duties as assigned
