Position Summary
The Domestic Operations Agent is responsible for coordinating domestic freight shipments, managing carrier relationships, and ensuring timely, accurate transportation services. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in a fast‑paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and monitor domestic air, ground, LTL, and FTL shipments.
- Manage shipment updates, routing, documentation, and transportation system records.
- Obtain carrier rates, secure spot quotes, and verify vendor charges.
- Identify and resolve service issues while maintaining clear communication with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures and support continuous improvements.
- 3+ years of experience in domestic freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation operations.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform efficiently under deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation management systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
