Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety‑focused Local CDL Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to local customers and job sites while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies. This position offers consistent local routes with daily home time.
Key Responsibilities- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
- Transport and deliver products to customers, warehouses, and job sites according to scheduled routes.
- Conduct pre‑trip, post‑trip, and routine vehicle inspections.
- Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and delivered without damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or safety concerns promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when required.
- Local routes with daily home time.
- Full‑time position with occasional overtime as needed.
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Frequent entering and exiting of the vehicle and handling of freight/materials.

- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1–2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work as needed.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
