The Operations Administrator holds a pivotal position within the organization, responsible for understanding and optimizing various operational processes. They serve as the go-to person for navigating and utilizing the organization’s systems and tools to enhance productivity and ensure seamless coordination with Daily Operations members.
Responsibilities- Logistics & Route Optimization: maximize efficiency and reduce fuel costs by optimizing transport routes.
- Plan and track shipments and deliveries using TMS, Tariff, SAP, E2
Open, and Power Query. - Assign routes and communicate daily assignments to drivers and dispatchers.
- Document and keep records – BOL, proof of delivery, and other shipping documents.
- Review and maintain driver logbooks.
- File records for fleet maintenance, inspections, and equipment repairs.
- Ensure compliance and safety: monitor adherence to local, state, and federal transportation safety regulations; track driver credentials, CDLs, and mandatory training certifications.
- Serve as the main liaison between management, drivers, and other departments (e.g., customer service, warehousing).
- Resolve client issues, including over, short, and damaged (OS&D) shipments and general delivery complaints.
- Process purchase orders and transport invoices.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years in a transportation operations environment.
- Background in data and analytics with capability to navigate Tableau dashboards.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Salary range: $69,300.00 – $96,200.00 per year. Total rewards include salary, bonus (if applicable), and benefits.
