Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Cincinnati, OH — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Salary & Benefits

• $1950 or more per week (Driver Positions Pay Weekly)
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.57 per mile with 2300+ miles per week
• Solo Stops Pay: $23.00 per stop with 12-15 stops per week
• Per Diem Pay: $52.00 per night with 4-5 nights per week
• Safety Bonus: up to $1250 per year
• Loyalty Bonus: $4000 paid out ($2000 at 6 months, $2000 at 1 year)

• Schedule:
  
  Sunday – Friday, Dispatch time 7:00-8:00 AM
• Sunday Evening Load Pickup (subject to availability)

• 80 hours PTO in first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid for it)

• Deliver SOLO to all states east of the Mississippi River
• Route:
  Regional
• Tractor: 2023/2024 automatic sleepers, refrigerators, invertors, microwave and tri-pac & outward facing cameras
• Trailer:
  Dry Van, 48' & 53'
• Freight:
  Driver Assist – garage doors
• Trucks 36 months or newer with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide locations

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards, maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting with loading/unloading of freight as required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
