School Bus Monitor

Now Hiring Part Time School Bus Monitor (Cincinnati, OH)

As a First Student Part Time School Bus Monitor you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You will be there at the start of the students’ day with before‑school pickup and at the end with an afternoon shift to bring students safely back home. No experience as a school bus monitor is required.

We’ll train you with our industry‑leading technology to help you succeed.

• Attend a split shift: an early morning before‑school pickup and an after‑school drop‑off with a few free hours in between.
• Ensure a guaranteed shift of 4 hours per school day.
• Complete all assigned safety procedures and documentation.
• Assist with any additional hours gained through trips and charters when available.

• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Military experience, retirement, second job or return to the workforce preferred.
• No college degree or high school diploma required.
• Enjoy working with students.
• Looking for a part‑time schedule.

• $18.03/hour starting wage, based on experience.
