Overview
CDL A Drivers Home Weekly 1500 to 1620+/WK (Full Time) – OTR Van
Class A Drivers get home every week with earnings of roughly $1500-$1610 per week. All freight is no-touch with full benefits. Riders and small dogs are allowed from Day One.
Responsibilities- Drive OTR van routes as assigned; operate trucks with forward-facing campers; trucks are automatic and assigned to drivers.
- Maintain weekly home time; ability to be available to drive Sundays (home time may vary).
- Assist with drop-and-hook freight; 40% of freight is drop and hook; all freight is no-touch.
- Trailer and equipment usage: drivers must take the equipment available.
- Adhere to company speed guidelines (65 mph) and cruise control (68 mph) while on duty.
- Orientation: 2–3 days; company covers transportation, hotel, and food; orientation pay of $200/day.
- Starting pay around $0.70 per mile on average 2100–2400+ miles per week, resulting in weekly pay around $1500–$1610+.
- Full medical, dental, and vision insurance begin on the first of the month after 60 days of employment.
- 401(k) plan begins after 90 days.
- One week of paid vacation after one year; two weeks after two years.
- Riders and small dogs are permitted from day one; rider must be 12 years or older and dog must be 50 lbs or less.
- Trucks include Freightliner or International models from 2023–2027; automatic transmissions; forward-facing campers; trucks assigned to drivers and can be taken home.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience:
6 months verifiable Class A OTR or regional experience in the last 12 months, or 12 months verifiable Class A OTR or regional experience in the last 24 months. - Driving record:
No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years in CMV and PMV combined; may not have more than 1 moving violation in the last 12 months in a CMV. - Major violations:
No major moving violations in the last 36 months (examples include 15+ points, cell phone usage, careless/reckless, following too closely, or improper lane violation). - No DOT preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Job history:
No more than 8 jobs in the last 3 years.
