Environmental Field Technician​/Material Handler in Cincinnati

Earth Smart Environmental Solutions, LLC (ES2) is recruiting an Environmental Field Technician/Material Handler in the Cincinnati, OH area. In this role, you will manage and perform a sharps medical waste and pharmaceutical waste container exchange system.

• Perform onsite duties at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center: onsite collection of sharps throughout the VAMC.
• Order, distribute, handle, collect and change out all sharps-related containers in strict accordance with all Federal, State, and local regulations.
• Work with vendor on collection of dirty sharps and place order for clean reusable sharps containers.
• Place full sharps containers in Basement Bio Room for pickup by vendor.
• Provide customer service to assigned clients.
• Maintain all required training as current.
• Drive box truck to take waste or supplies to and from various facilities as needed.
• Up to possible 3 overnights per month that may be scheduled.
• Other duties as required.

• Good communication skills, team player, multi-task with a good work ethic, and be customer sensitive and friendly.
• Self-starter able to work independently.
• Possess diligent attention to safety.
• Have a clean driving record.
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• CDL Class A or B with Hazmat a plus in compensation considerations.
• Must pass a background check and drug testing.
