$26/hr – Days
$27/hr – Afternoons (Start time between 2:00 PM – Midnight)
$0.50 per year increase (capped at $30/hr base rate)
Overtime after 55 hours
Average 10–12 hour shifts
Additional incentives available for qualified training and road testing responsibilities.

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Trainer — a driver who not only operates at a high level, but takes pride in mentoring, coaching, and setting the standard for safety and professionalism.
Position Responsibilities- Safely operate a Class A CMV in compliance with FMCSA and company regulations.
- Conduct road tests for prospective CDL drivers and provide structured evaluation feedback.
- Train and mentor new hires during onboarding and ride-alongs.
- Coach drivers on safe driving techniques, customer interaction, hours-of-service compliance, and company procedures.
- Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reinforce inspection best practices.
- Support dispatch and safety teams in identifying development opportunities for drivers.
- Maintain accurate logs, BOLs, mileage records, and compliance documentation.
- Represent Onfreight professionally at customer locations across KY, OH, IN, IL, and MI.
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean MVR and proven safe driving record.
- 5–10+ years of dry van freight experience required.
- JIT (Just-In-Time) freight experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated history of safe operations and accident-free performance.
- Previous driver training, safety leadership, mentoring, or road testing experience highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coach and provide constructive feedback.
- Professional, dependable, and respected by peers.
