Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5pm–1am.
PositionThe Warehouse Associate reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for storage, organization, and distribution of goods within a warehouse setting. Responsibilities typically include receiving, unpacking, labeling, storing, and picking items according to orders. The role may also involve inventory management, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and operating machinery such as forklifts or pallet jacks when required.
Responsibilities- Operate forklift, pallet jack, reach truck to pull and prepare outbound customer orders
- Build, wrap, sort, pick, pack, and stage customer orders
- Load outbound delivery trucks and will calls
- Consolidate product to maximize space utilization
- Repackage and/or relabel products due to damages/vendor errors and returns
- Stock received merchandise and/or movement of stock items
- Maintain a clean workspace and participate with the team in keeping the facility clean, safe, and accident-free
- Answer phone calls and follow-up on orders, shortages, and mistakes
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail, organization, and project management abilities
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to read and interpret printed orders and directions
- Demonstrated record of safety and quality control
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
- Ability to perform duties under minimal direction
- High sense of urgency and ability to multi-task
- Excellent attendance record
- Proficient math skills
- Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Background Check
- Comply with safety and company procedures and embody core values
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1+ year(s) warehouse experience, preferably in shipping and receiving
- Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks
- Ability to lift items weighing at least 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, and climb as part of daily duties
The work environment is moderately quiet to moderately noisy. Temperature is moderated by heating in winter and air conditioning or circulation methods in summer. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
