Nisbet Brower is seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Material Handler to support warehouse and logistics operations. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials and products throughout the facility to ensure efficient workflow and accurate inventory management.

Detail‑oriented, dependable, and comfortable operating forklifts and other material handling equipment in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

• Receive and inspect incoming materials and products to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Store and organize materials in designated warehouse locations to support efficient inventory management.
• Pick and stage materials for customer orders, deliveries, or production needs.
• Load and unload materials and products from trucks using appropriate equipment and safety procedures.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts as required.
• Perform basic maintenance and routine inspections on material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Ride along with drivers or drive to worksite and help unload.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a company vehicle.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred.
• Technical Skills
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related warehouse equipment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and operational instructions.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
• Physical Requirements
• This position requires the ability to safely perform essential job functions in a warehouse environment. Candidates must be able to:
• Lift, carry, push, and pull materials frequently up to 50 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.
• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Bend, reach, twist, and move materials at varying heights.
• Push and pull pallet jacks or carts across warehouse areas.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment requiring physical coordination and dexterity.
• Maintain visual and auditory awareness necessary for a safe warehouse environment.

• Primary work environment is a warehouse facility with large open spaces and high ceilings.
• Exposure to warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and moving machinery.
• Environment may include moderate noise levels from equipment and operations.
• Temperature conditions may vary depending on season and warehouse conditions.
• Exposure to dust, debris, and active material handling operations.
• Adherence to safety procedures and use of appropriate personal protective equipment is required.
