Warehouse Attendant

Job Summary

Receives, stores and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products.

Full‑time schedule;
Monday through Friday, hours may vary.

Pay range: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour.

• Read production schedule, customer order, work order, or shipping order to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
• Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Place materials/goods on racks, shelves, or bins, or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequence (size, type, style, color, or product code).
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute items to production workers or assembly line.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves; convey orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
• Use computer to enter records.
• Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
• Drive vehicle to transport stored items or to pick up items.
• Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.
• Prepare parcels for mailing.
• Maintain inventory records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
• Commit personally to safety for oneself and others.
• Abide by all company policies and procedures, including use of appropriate gloves, protective gear, slip‑resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.

• Entry‑level to intermediate warehouse experience preferred.
