Night Reach Truck Operator

Performance Food Group is seeking a Night Reach Truck Operator to support our high-volume wholesale food distribution operations. In this full-time, overnight role, you will safely operate reach trucks and related warehouse equipment to move, store, and retrieve palletized food products in dry, cooler, and freezer environments. Responsibilities include accurate picking and put-away using RF scanners, loading and unloading trailers, maintaining orderly racks, and following strict safety and food-handling standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate reach trucks and related powered industrial trucks on the night shift to move, store, and retrieve palletized food products.
• Accurately pick orders and perform put-away using RF scanners, following company standards and customer specifications.
• Load and unload trailers, stage pallets, and ensure products are properly wrapped, labeled, and secured.
• Work in dry, refrigerated, and freezer environments while maintaining product quality and food safety standards.
• Follow all OSHA, facility, and food-handling safety procedures; promptly report hazards, damage, or near-misses.
• Maintain clean, organized aisles, racks, and staging areas to support efficient warehouse flow.
• Meet or exceed productivity, accuracy, and quality metrics while working as part of a team-focused operation.
• Participate in shift start-up meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance.
• Perform basic equipment inspections and pre-shift checks; report maintenance issues as required.
• Support inventory control activities such as cycle counts, location verification, and discrepancy resolution.
