DYS is seeking a Behavioral Healthcare Provider 2 to oversee facility behavioral healthcare functions. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a solid background and a passion to habilitate youth.
Specifically, The Behavioral Healthcare Provider 2 Will- Within the scope of their licensure, provide social work services, including assessments; treatment planning; individual, group, and/or family interventions/sessions; crisis intervention; liaison services (e.g. with family, regional office/juvenile parole officers, release authority, school, courts, and other community support services); discharge and aftercare planning; etc. to assigned caseload of youth offenders.
- Consistent with policy, represent social and/or habilitative programming on the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IDT). Establish and maintain working relationships with other facilities, agencies, and support services. Contact parent/guardian (e.g., in emergencies, crises, transfers, etc.).
- Access, develop, maintain, and synthesize written and/or electronic documentation to satisfy requirements of federal, state, and local agencies; and in compliance with DYS policy (e.g. progress notes, institutional and community reports pertaining to the youth’s case; etc.).
- Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) by Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
- Or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) by Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
- Or Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT) by the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
- Or Licensed Registered Nurse with certificate of authority as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or Certified Nurse Practitioner with specialty certification in Mental Health or Psychiatry as issued by Ohio Board of Nursing.
