Develop and design manufactured products according to customer specs. Oversee design projects from inception to completion. Provide input on product design, aesthetics, and functional solutions for products. Responsible for material selection and recommendation, work through debugging issues with new products.

• Proficiency with Solidworks Professional and Corel Draw design software
• Ability to work independently
• High School Diploma or GED
• Related experience and/or training a plus
• Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to learn quickly
• Ability to follow both written and verbal directions
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and innovative environment
• Experience in using standard machine shop equipment and tools
• Experience in fabrication of Plastic and Metal parts
• Intermediate math and measurement skills.

• Use Solidworks to design Plastic & Metal products

• Design parts
• Complete drawings
• Calculate and report manufacturing costs
• Part breakdown
• Manufacturing drawings

• Work closely with other designers, equipment operators, and fabricators to develop items with manufacturing intent

• Maintain communication with customers and internal personnel regarding product design, cost, production time requirements, etc.
• Monitor and track all design updates or changes.
• Assist with production when needed

• Review assembly requirements, hardware, etc.
• Provide hands‑on assistance with part assembly when needed
