We are looking for a Part‑time Infusion Nurse to support our infusion patients in the Circleville, OH area and surrounding locations. The role is part of Soleo Health’s efforts to provide complex specialty pharmacy and infusion services in the home or alternate sites of care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care for all assigned patients, initiating and maintaining communication with care team members including pharmacists, prescribers, dietitians, and community resource staff.
- Evaluate and educate patients or caregivers to safely administer home infusion therapy and to provide additional instruction as indicated.
- Assess the home environment for safety and identify necessary interventions.
- Collaborate with team members to develop the plan of care and evaluate response to therapy at each encounter.
- Manage schedule via the company‑approved platform per company policy and promptly communicate any scheduling changes to appropriate team members.
- Coordinate patient care via the approved company platform.
- Participate in a nurse on‑call rotation to ensure continuous nursing support services to customers.
- Document all patient encounters, communications, and care activities at time of service per Soleo policy and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of Soleo therapies, protocols, and clinical standards.
- Ensure timely submission of plans of treatment (POT) and required clinical documents per policy and state guideline.
- Work with appropriate departments to ensure all required patient documents (consents, POTs) are completed and returned within an acceptable timeframe.
- Part‑time;
Monday‑Friday 8:30 am–5:00 pm with variable schedule to include days, afternoons, evenings, weekends as needed (33‑38 hours per week). - Participate in an on‑call rotation: one evening every 2 weeks and one weekend every 2‑3 months.
- Drive up to 2 hours one‑direction to see patients with mileage reimbursement and hourly rate of pay even when driving.
- Knowledgeable in IV access devices: IV lines, accessing ports, and infusion medication administration.
- Comfortable working in patients’ homes around animals and cigarette smoke.
- Hold a multistate RN license for Ohio in good standing.
- Current RN license by the applicable state’s Board of Nursing, in good standing.
- RN degree; bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred.
- Advanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g., CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not required.
- Experience in ICU and/or cardiac care preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license with no significant restrictions.
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience with background in infusion therapy preferred.
- Administrative oversight experience: responsible for monitoring workflows, ensuring policy compliance, and managing resources efficiently.
- Emergency availability: ability to respond promptly to emergencies, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
