Overview
Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Trimold LLC - Circleville, OH 43113 US (Primary)
Education: Bachelor s Degree
Pay Grade: Experienced (Non-Manager)
Job Type: Full-time
Travel: 0 - 10%
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving efforts.
- Validate supplier product quality through quality control plans, inspection criteria, and sampling procedures.
- Develop and implement quality system improvements to comply with business plan goals.
- Responsible for quality system internal and external audits.
- Verification of countermeasure effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain PFMEA, Control Plans, Flow Charts and Process Capability Studies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years quality control automotive manufacturing experience required.
- Quality Management System (QMS) and IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 experience.
- Implement and maintain all quality system requirements, including APQP, PPAP, and customer-specific requirements.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- No Direct Reports to this Position
- Physical demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be subject to standing, walking, bending, twisting, lifting, exposure to high noise levels (protection provided) and data entry. - Work environment:
This job is performed at an open manufacturing, warehouse and office environment.
