Responsibilities- Lead, develop, and mentor a high‑performing team, cultivating a guest‑first culture.
- Set clear expectations, provide feedback, and lead by example to empower teams across all shifts.
- Facilitate open communication and collaboration throughout the store.
- Support operational excellence by executing store‑level strategies that drive sales, guest satisfaction, and profitability.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, vendor relationships, and cash control, ensuring accurate ordering and waste minimization.
- Drive promotional execution, maintaining food service compliance and elevating the in‑store experience.
- Ensure the store remains clean, stocked, and aligned with Race Trac brand standards.
- Champion food safety and compliance by conducting regular quality checks, coaching teams, and maintaining audit documentation.
- Analyze reports, identify trends, and take action to improve store performance.
- Support team scheduling and staffing needs in coordination with the General Manager, and provide performance feedback to foster accountability.

- 3‑5 years of experience in retail, food service, or restaurant leadership.
- 1+ year of management experience preferred.
- Strong coaching, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience in high‑volume, guest‑focused environments.
- Ability to read and act on business metrics such as P&L, labor, and sales.
- High school diploma or GED, in progress or completed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Willingness to obtain and maintain food handler and alcohol server permits if required.
