• Delivering an Exceptional Guest Experience – Provide friendly, prompt service at the register or self-checkout; suggest additional products to enhance guest purchases; address guest concerns with urgency and involve managers as needed; foster a team-oriented, respectful work environment.
• Keep It Stocked & Fresh – Ensure food and beverage items are available and up to quality standards; maintain cleanliness in food prep areas and follow all safety regulations; restock shelves, coolers, and display areas as needed.
• Maintain Store Cleanliness & Organization – Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment inside and out; complete regular cleaning tasks to ensure a great experience for guests; assist in inventory management and restocking.

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress) or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment is a plus
• A team player who takes initiative and enjoys working with people
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks like bending and standing
• May be required to obtain and maintain food handler or alcohol server permits, depending on state/local regulations

• Greet guests and teammates with a smile, respond promptly and courteously to both
• Follow management directions and be flexible to work in all areas of the store, including food service, store cleaning, cash wrap, and stocking shelves/coolers
• Prepare, handle, and serve food in accordance with safety and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized food service area; ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients; adhere to food safety regulations
• Clean all areas of the store, including breaking down food equipment and following established cleaning procedures
• Adhere to safety protocols when handling chemicals
• Ensure shelves are fully stocked, backrooms and coolers are clean, well-organized, and maintained
• Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately; process transactions; handle cash and card payments
• Keep the register area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies while following cash-handling policies
• Act as the first point of contact for guest concerns, escalating to the shift manager as needed
• Meet guest transaction expectations by managing line lengths and providing polite, clear, and prompt communication
• Follow written and verbal instructions to uphold food safety standards; clean preparation stations
• Inform guests about promotional food items to raise awareness and drive engagement
• Comply with Race Trac policies and safety regulations, including food safety
• Respond openly to feedback and adjust to improve performance
• Be a reliable team player by arriving on time, supporting teammates, and collaborating with diverse colleagues
