Learn how you can start or jumpstart your career with us. The Circleville, OH site currently has a new opportunity for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.
The Mechanic will perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical systems. This role will be a key member of the maintenance team to support preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
Starting wage of $38.21 per hour, with a structured progression plan that provides the opportunity to reach $41.68 per hour within the first year based on performance, experience, and completion of required skills demonstrations.
Employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with company policy and applicable laws. Special pay opportunities may be available, including premiums for shift differentials, callouts, emergency response, or specialized skill assignments, depending on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical documentation
- Troubleshoot equipment using mechanical knowledge, equipment specification sheets, and manufacturer literature
- Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance records and work orders
- Use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, alignment, etc.) to fit bearings, align gears, shafts, couplings, belts, and set equipment to precise tolerances
- Provide mechanical support to identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
- Install, modify, and upgrade equipment and machinery as needed
- Measure, lay out, fabricate, and install non‑welded piping systems including valves, supports, hangers, and brackets
- Perform safe rigging activities by using proper techniques for lifting and moving equipment
- Basic welding
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of relevant industrial experience (including related military experience) or equivalent related education (technical or vocational training)
- Ability to read and understand manuals, schematics, and P&’s
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors
- Must be willing and able to work a rotating shift schedule, possible weekend work, and be on call
- Able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including respirators (cartridge, inline air, etc.), chemical suits, steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, hard hat, etc.
- Strong communication and organizational skills; able to collaborate with colleagues and management teams to complete assignments in a timely manner
- Willing to improve technical skills through on-the-job and/or outside training
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand/sit/walk for extended periods of time
- Squat/kneel and climb stairs/ladders
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in industrial environments
- Willing to work overtime and provide off‑hours call‑out support in order to continue 24/7 plant operations
- Prior plant maintenance or construction experience
- Technical or vocational training
- SAP experience
