Salary:
Hourly based on experience per the salary schedule
Qualifications:
- Must possess a "clear" BCII and FBI background check
- Must meet all qualifications to be a school driver in the State of Ohio
- Must have a High School Diploma or the equivalent
- Must have an excellent driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be able to pass mandated annual physical and random drug tests
- Supervises the behavior of the students on the bus through verbal direction for the purpose of their safety
- Must have the ability to ensure the safe transportation of all students
- Must be flexible and have ability to quickly adjust to changes in schedule
- Willingness to drive extracurricular routes when requested
Preferred candidate shall have possession of a Class B Commercial Driver's License allowing operation of vehicles with air brakes and the following endorsements:
Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) or
be willing to be trained to obtain.
