• Perform highway maintenance activities, including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, and mowing.

Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition, subtraction, decimals, percentages, and fractions; ability to read, write, and speak common English. 3 months training or 3 months experience in operation of basic equipment. Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement without air‑brake restriction.

This position is overtime eligible based on FLSA Standards.

All bargaining unit new hires must serve a one‑year probationary period.

All third‑shift employees receive a 60¢ shift differential.

Position will be filled pursuant to the provision of the OCSEA/AFSCME Contract.

The final candidate selected for this position will be required to undergo a criminal background check. An individual assessment of an applicant’s prior criminal convictions will be made before excluding an applicant from consideration.
