CDL A Delivery Truck Driver

Drivers are responsible for transporting goods across the United States, ensuring safe and timely delivery. They maintain accurate records and adhere to regulatory requirements.

• Pay Rate: up to $90,000 in the first year.
• Overnight dispatch and liftgate delivery.
• Solo routes; most routes are home daily, with some two‑day routes.

• Inspect tractor‑trailer for defects pre‑ and post‑trip, submitting DOT inspection reports.
• Verify bill of lading and handle keys accurately for off‑hour deliveries.
• Operate tractor‑trailer to destination, following commercial driving regulations.
• Maintain driver logs according to DOT regulations and document deliveries, product temperatures, and exceptions.
• Unload trailer and deliver products to customer premises.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor‑trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job‑related tasks.
