Perform duties to coordinate and support the warehouse operation. This position maintains all inventory related functions and is exposed to many aspects such as receiving, dispatching, packaging, and sorting of goods and materials in the warehouse. Continuously supports Sofidel’s Employee Personal Practice Policy.
Essential Functions- Supports Sofidel America’s Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP to promote a safe, sanitary and hygienically sound workplace.
- Maintain accurate records of all the inventory and stock in the warehouse.
- Authenticate the goods in the received shipments and maintain record of all discrepancies.
- Coordinate dispatch of deliveries (sales order, purchase order, returns, credit and debit order workshop order) and create and maintain the required shipping documents.
- Monitor scanner, daily adjustment, monthly adjustment, level of stock, inventory good entry.
- Coordinate handler units (HU) with or without PC touch, delete HU, change material, off line scanner and research data not created by HU.
- Operating company ERP software, system and procedures.
- Coordinate downtime data from production report and enter into SAP.
- Perform monthly inventory counts for Warehouse Manager.
- Communicate information to assigned lift operators in designated work areas.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of goods and supplies.
- Follow all safety regulations and legal documentation norms pertaining to warehousing.
- Provides back-up and support to other areas as requested.
- Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.
- Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Company ERP software, SAP, MRP systems, scanners, handler units (HU), PC touch devices, and standard warehouse equipment.
Education and ExperienceAssociates Degree or High School Diploma with minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient with Excel and exposure to SAP or MRP system preferred.
Language AbilityAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, shipping/warehouse and inventory requirements, operating and maintenance instructions, and quality and procedure manuals. Communication skills essential.
Math AbilityAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Physical Requirements:
Vision (Near, Distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception), Sense of Sound (within normal range) and touch.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when in the plant and warehouse areas. PPE will include safety shoes, eye and ear protection, reflective vests and hairnets or hats along with any other necessary protection. Temperatures in the plant/warehouse can range greatly from season to season. The employee will be exposed to considerable paper dust and noise levels that require hearing protection.
