Automation Warehouse Operator

Perform duties to coordinate and support the warehouse operation. This position maintains inventory and order quality related functions and is exposed to many aspects such as receiving, dispatching, packaging and sorting of goods and materials in the warehouse. Continuously supports Sofidel’s Employee Personal Practice Policy.

• Supports Sofidel America’s Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP to promote a safe, sanitary and hygienically sound workplace.
• Ensure the proper handling and storage of goods and supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of all the inventory and stock in the warehouse.
• Verify Pallet Accuracy by checking for damages and labeling errors.
• Rework damaged pallets by replacing damages with new items.
• Relabeling product that was marked incorrectly.
• Communicates Overage, Shortage, and Damages to appropriate parties.
• Operate forklift as necessary.
• Monitor scanner, daily adjustment, monthly adjustment, level of stock, inventory good entry
• Coordinate handler units (HU) with or without PC touch, delete HU, change material, off line scanner and research data not created by HU.
• Operating company ERP software, system and procedures.
• Operating company systems.
• Communicate information to assigned lift operators in designated work areas.
• Follow all safety regulations and legal documentation norms pertaining to warehousing.
• Provides back-up and support to other areas as requested.

• Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.
• Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
