Key Responsibilities for the Tax Manager:
• Oversee federal, state, local, sales/use, payroll, property, and other tax compliance filings.
• Develop and execute tax planning strategies that support business objectives and minimize tax exposure.
• Prepare and review tax provisions, reconciliations, journal entries, and related reporting.
• Lead tax audits, regulatory examinations, and external advisor relationships.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and provide guidance on business implications.
• Improve tax processes, reporting systems, and internal controls to support scalability and compliance.
Qualifications for the Tax Manager:
• 5-8+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting and/or corporate tax.
• Experience with multi-state tax compliance and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation preferred.
• CPA preferred.
