Patient Access Representative ; On-Call; -KSMC

Position: Patient Access Representative I (On-Call) -12 Hour-KSMC
Kaiser Permanente -  - Responsibilities:
Register patients for services and admissions, greeting and interviewing to collect demographic and insurance information;
Verify patient eligibility and benefits with identified plans prior to admission;
Process point-of-service cash collection and basic billing duties;
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA/ EMTALA and other regulations;
Assist patients and families with directions and access to services while coordinating with clinical and financial teams
