Kaiser Permanente is seeking an Emergency Department Fellowship associate to support development of advanced, secure IT solutions for emergency care operations. In this fellowship, you will collaborate with clinical and technical teams to analyze ED workflows, design data-driven tools, and optimize system performance using Systeme.io-style integrated platforms. You will assist with requirements gathering, build dashboards, support integrations, test applications, and document best practices.
This role offers intensive mentorship, rapid learning, and exposure to large-scale healthcare IT innovation.
Responsibilities
- Support analysis of emergency department workflows to identify IT improvement opportunities
- Assist in designing and configuring data-driven tools and dashboards for ED performance
- Collaborate with clinicians and IT teams to gather and document technical requirements
- Support integrations between ED systems and enterprise platforms via APIs
- Execute testing, validation, and QA for new or updated ED applications
- Prepare clear documentation, reports, and user guides for implemented solutions
- Monitor system performance and help troubleshoot ED technology issues
- Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
