Manager, Patient Care Delivery
Lead and manage patient care delivery and practice standards across multiple locations. Resolve patient, family, and staff concerns regarding care and services. Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and team members for safe and effective patient care. Monitor resources in clinical areas to ensure proper assignments and utilization. Manage equipment, supplies, and medications to maintain a safe environment. Maintain clinical expertise and provide supervision and competency assessments.
Delegate tasks aligned with scope of practice and perform clinical duties as needed.
Promote professional growth and provide coaching to team members. Hire, train, and develop nursing staff and plan for succession. Communicate goals and provide performance feedback regularly. Oversee unit operations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Work with stakeholders to align services to departmental strategies. Remove obstacles and identify opportunities to improve team performance. Manage administrative functions like staffing, safety, training, and quality management.
Lead budgeting, payroll, and cost control efforts within the department. Oversee 24/7 care delivery operations and emergency preparedness. Lead projects to improve quality, service, and efficiency. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory health care standards. Drive continuous quality and safety improvements for patients and staff.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN). Registered Nurse license (Oregon) at time of hire. Basic Life Support certification least 5 years of experience in patient care delivery. At least 5 years of experience in clinical health care or related business operations. Minimum 4 years in a leadership role, with or without direct reports.
Oncology experience, especially in inpatient medical-surgical oncology units. Experience leading teams of 50+ direct reports. Familiarity with chemotherapy administration and oncology patient care. This is a new Manager-level position with direct reports. Regular full-time employment, no travel required. Work hours are flexible.
