Clinical Director
Lead and implement best practice care models across multiple locations. Investigate and resolve patient/family concerns about care. Collaborate with physicians, external providers, and care teams to ensure safe, continuous patient care. Monitor staffing and resources to ensure effective clinical coverage. Oversee equipment, supplies, medications, and maintain a safe environment. Maintain clinical licensure and competency; supervise and delegate appropriately. Perform clinical duties as needed.
Promote team growth through training, feedback, and succession planning. Lead change initiatives, adopting industry best practices and sharing across teams. Engage and motivate staff to meet organizational goals. Translate business strategy into tactical plans for clinical units. Ensure compliance with policies and manage performance metrics. Oversee administrative functions: budgeting, HR, safety, quality, training, and regulatory readiness (including TJC). Lead 24/7 care operations, emergency preparedness, and resource coordination.
Drive cross-functional improvement projects focused on quality, safety, and efficiency. Maintain legal and regulatory compliance (Nursing Practice Act, TJC, federal/state regulations).
5 + years in patient care delivery. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). 5 + years in clinical or business operations. 4 + years in a leadership role. Active RN license in Oregon. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Regular, full-time role with direct reports. Nationwide relocation available. Annual incentive bonus included. No travel required.
