Outside Process Facilitator SSBO

Job Description

Shift: 2:00PM - 10:30PM

Purpose:

Deals directly with vendors to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of product to appropriate locations. Inspects product upon delivery to verify delivered product specifications match adherence to all QCM/QCI requirements.

Responsibilities:

* Review and schedule outside processing product loads to insure that shop floor schedules and customer requirements are met.

* Communicate with vendors in regards to week/monthly delivery requirements and capacity thru-put issues.

* Insure vendor adherence to all QCM/QCI requirements (i.e., Tech cards, certifications, etc.)

* Interact with Manufacturing and Planning concerning outside processing needs to insure product meets schedule requirements.

* Responsible for maintaining critical part movement and supporting month-end shipping requirements.

* Coordinate and give direction in order to facilitate meeting shop floor schedules.

Qualifications:

* Able to work weekends and non-standard hours.

* Demonstrated proficiency in math and analytical skills.

* Demonstrated oral and written communication skills; proven decision making ability.

* Excellent organizational and multi-task skills.

* 5 - 7 years of work experience of Outside processing vendor base and Knowledge of investment casting finishing processes, i.e. machining, heat treat-vacuum/atmosphere, cleaning strongly preferred.

* Ability to work with minimal supervision.

* Production scheduling experience preferred.

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

* Regular and predictable attendance

* Any other job duties that the supervisor may request
