Manufacturing Management Development Program

Albertsons Companies (ACI) is investing in the next generation of talent in our Supply Chain Leadership Training Program. As a Leadership trainee with ACI, you will develop skills alongside passionate leaders to make an impact within our Supply Chain network. This program will give you a unique opportunity to develop a well-rounded skill set and gain exposure to multiple aspects of our complex and interesting business.

What you will be doing

The Manufacturing Management Development Program offers recent graduates with early-career professionals an immersive 6-month hands-on experience, followed by 3 months of on-the-job application, designed to build future leaders across manufacturing operations.

* Gain practical experience in manufacturing operations, quality, safety, production planning, and logistics through real-world assignments and projects.

* Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and GMP standards

* Support execution of Manufacturing goals a process improvement projects.

* Communicate goals, updates, and metrics to the team regularly

* Train and mentor associates to achieve peak performance

* Ensure shift handoff and reporting process are complete and accurate

* Collaborate with scheduling, warehouse, and support teams for seamless operations

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

* Bachelor's degree in Food Science or applicable major supporting food manufacturing or supply chain

* Ability to quickly develop new skills, learn new tools, and integrate new techniques

* Highly skilled with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

* Passionate about making an impact while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams for overall company objectives

* Experience managing multiple priorities and managing various work assignments.

* Highly motivated with strong leadership skills and the ability to take initiative on your own.

* Ability to solve problems and think critically

* Strong communication skills

* 0-5% travel required

* Ability to relocate upon the completion of the program to one of our Manufacturing Plants
