This is a full-time, temp-to-hire Metal Casting Machine Operator position on a compressed swing shift schedule. In this role, you'll operate production equipment, inspect finished parts, and play a key role in producing quality metal components for the transportation industry.
Job Duties:
- Set up, operate, and monitor metal molding and casting machinery
- Change dies, remove castings, maintain molds, and inspect parts for quality
- Record production data, including temperatures, pressures, cycle times, and output
- Read blueprints, work orders, and production specifications
- Work with molten or heated metal materials in a production setting
Schedule: Swing Shift, Monday through Thursday, 2:30 pm to 1:00 am
Pay: $22.50 per hour, increase upon permanent hire.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of manufacturing or production experience
- Ability to stand for the majority of the shift
- Ability to lift 4 to 10 pounds frequently throughout the shift
- Able to follow written instructions and work independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment
