Forklift Operator; Nights

Position: Forklift Operator (Nights)
Our client, a leading manufacturing and distribution organization, is seeking a Forklift Operator (Nights) to join their team. As a Forklift Operator (Nights), you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting logistics and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Position Type** : 3-Month Contract-to-Hire

** Pay Rate:**  $21.00/hour + $2.00/hour shift differential between hours of 7:00PM - 5:00AM

** Shift:
** Night shift, 6pm - 6:30am, 2-2-3 rotation, with every other weekend off (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

** What's the Job?*
* + Operate forklifts safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment

+ Load and unload trucks, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded in the ERP system

+ Inspect forklifts before use and maintain propane tanks and accessories

+ Coordinate with supervisors to determine material requirements and delivery schedules

+ Transport materials between departments and ensure inventory accuracy

** What's Needed?*
* + High School Diploma or equivalent

+ At least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

+ Proven experience operating sit-down and propane forklifts

+ Possession of a certified forklift operator license (preferred)

+ RF scanning experience is a plus
