What You’ll Do:

• Accurately pull customer orders using forklifts, side-loaders, or other warehouse equipment
• Load and unload building materials including lumber, plywood, and other wood products
• Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling, packaging, and staging
  
  Safely move products throughout the warehouse and yard
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock rotation
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or lumberyard environment preferred
• Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to be trained and certified
• Comfortable working outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail — accuracy matters in this role
• Dependable, team‑oriented, and self‑motivated
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials up to 50–75 lbs as needed

The fixed rate is $22.00 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Actual compensation will depend on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and other job-related considerations. Blue Linx also offers a comprehensive benefits package including health care, dental, vision, life and disability insurance starting the first day of the month, 15 days of paid time off that start accruing your first day, and 8 paid holidays per year.
