Please note this is an overnight shift starting at 5:00pm. Swing shift employees are compensated with an additional $1.00 differential added to their hourly rate.

We’re looking for an Operations Support Specialist (Swing Shift) who is organized, focused, and dependable, with a strong ability to manage multiple work streams, track details, and follow tasks through to completion. This role is critical to keeping warehouse operations running smoothly during a high‑impact shift, where accuracy, judgment, and clear communication matter every day (and night!).

This position is well suited for someone who thrives in fast‑changing environments, takes ownership of their work, and understands how small errors or delays can ripple across the operation.

Compensation Details:

  • $21.00/hour + $1.00 shift differential.
  • Potential 90-day performance-based raise.
  • Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure.

The Schedule: 5pm start time, days off TBD

The Role: Operations Support Specialists provide administrative support to warehouse operations by performing essential office functions, including data entry, record maintenance, reporting, and label creation. This role supports operational accuracy and efficiency through timely and accurate system updates, clear communication, and coordination across departments. The position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks, track progress, and support special projects in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

Essential Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Support warehouse operations through accurate data entry, documentation, reporting, and coordination
  • Track multiple operational tasks, timelines, and dependencies to ensure work is completed and closed out
  • Maintain and update operational records, reports, labels, and system entries
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with warehouse teams, leadership, and support departments
  • Identify issues, gaps, or inconsistencies and escalate or resolve them within defined guidelines
  • Support special projects and operational initiatives during the swing shift
  • Serve as a steady, reliable presence during peak activity periods

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • At least two (2) years of AS400 experience strongly preferred.
  • At least two (2) years of NCR (Power Dock) experience.
  • At least two (2) years of work experience in a shipping and receiving environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail and follow‑through.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work streams, and deadlines simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proven problem‑solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment within defined guidelines.
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision once expectations are defined.
  • Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and consistent attendance.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Ten‑key by touch proficiency (approximately 5,000 keystrokes per hour).
